All Headers are displayed at the top of each screen.

 

Header

Navigates to the BPIMS Library Resource Centre; opens a contact page with email, phone and team members information, opens the BPIMS on-line help.  Login opens a popup window for access to the project team members online workspace and resources via a usercode and password.

 

Home (Login) - Opens the Welcome to the BPIMS Managing Projects Area page.

 

Home (Project Home) - Returns to Main Menu and Welcome to the BPIMS Managing Projects page of the login screen.  

 

Library - Opens the BPIMS Library Resource Centre in a separate window.

 

Contact Us - Opens a contact page with email, phone and team members information.

 

Help - Opens the Help (context) for the current screen in a popup window including step-by-step instructions, explanations of navigation buttons, business rules, screen items (fields) definitions and quick navigation to related topics.  The full BPIMS on-line help system can be accessed from this screen.

 

Login - Opens a popup window to enter usercode and password to the BPIMS Managing Projects screens.

 

Search - Enter a resource name (part name accepted) and click Go.  The Library will open with a list of all resources searched with the nominated word/s.

 

Project Name (Project Home only) - The Project Name, Current Phase and FARMS Account Number will appear above the PIP menu.

 

PIP (Project Home only) - The PIP (Project Initiation Process) menu is a single graphic image that allow users access to the lines of PIP with links to resources and work instructions by clicking on the different PIP phase image.  You can open/close the PIP image display.

 

PMBOK (Project Home only) - The PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) navigation structure, which has many layers, is easily represented by a multi-level dropdown menu. The PMBOK menu is represented in terms of its component processes.  These processes have been organised into nine project management knowledge areas: integration, scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, risk and procurement.
